Why it helps you grow

ISO 27001 opens doors that stay closed without it

Many enterprises, banks, hospitals and government bodies will not onboard vendors without a recognised security standard. ISO 27001 is accepted globally.

Speeds up sales

Security questionnaires take weeks to answer without documented controls. With an ISMS in place, the answers are ready.

Builds structure

Compliance forces clear ownership, documented processes and measured risk — which also makes the company easier to manage and scale.

Reduces risk

A systematic approach to risk finds problems before they become incidents.

Builds trust with investors

Due diligence is smoother when security governance is documented.

Wins tenders

Government and enterprise tenders increasingly list a recognised information security standard as a qualifying condition.

Scales to your size

Small companies can be certified too. We scale the ISMS to your size so it stays practical, not paperwork for its own sake.

In plain language

What ISO 27001 actually asks you to do

ISO 27001 is an international standard for managing information security. It does not just ask for tools. It asks you to understand your risks, decide on controls, document how you operate, train your people, check that it works, and keep improving.

The outcome is an Information Security Management System — an ISMS. A certification body audits your ISMS and, if it meets the standard, issues a certificate that is valid for three years with annual surveillance audits.

We cannot guarantee a pass, because the certification body decides based on your real practices. Our internal audit and readiness review are designed to find and fix issues beforehand, so clients enter the audit well prepared.

Who issues the certificate?

An accredited certification body

We prepare you and support you through the audit. Certification body fees are separate from our consulting fee, and the selection of the body is yours — we advise on accredited options and help you request quotes.

CyberSwipe provides readiness and implementation support. We do not certify you ourselves, and we keep that distinction explicit.
The service, step by step

Eight steps to certification-ready

Each step has a clear activity, a concrete deliverable and a benefit — so progress is visible and auditable at every stage.

01

Gap assessment

We interview your team, review documents, systems and practices, and compare everything to ISO 27001 clauses and Annex A controls. You get a gap report showing what you already meet, what is missing, and a prioritised action plan with effort estimates — so you know exactly where you stand before spending money on implementation.

02

Risk assessment and treatment

We build your asset register, identify threats and vulnerabilities, score each risk by likelihood and impact (aligned with NIST SP 800-30 and ISO 27005 approaches), and decide how to treat each one: reduce, accept, transfer or avoid. You get a risk register, risk treatment plan and Statement of Applicability — so your security budget goes to the risks that matter most.

03

Technical testing (VAPT)

We test your applications, network and cloud with our VAPT team. You get technical evidence supporting your risk assessment and vulnerability management controls — real proof, not just paperwork.

04

ISMS design and documentation

We write or tailor the policies and procedures you need: information security policy, access control, asset management, backup, incident management, supplier security, business continuity, secure development, acceptable use and more. Practical documents written for your company, not copied templates — so your team can actually follow what is written.

05

Implementation support

We help you put controls into practice: access reviews, logging, backups, endpoint protection, vendor assessments, onboarding and offboarding processes, and incident drills — because controls working in daily operations is what auditors verify.

06

Awareness training

Short training sessions for all staff and deeper sessions for IT and developers. Most incidents involve people, so trained staff are your best control.

07

Internal audit and management review

We perform a mock audit and help leadership hold the required management review — so surprises are found and fixed before the real audit.

08

Certification audit support

We help you choose an accredited certification body, prepare for Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits, and support you in closing any findings — a smoother audit and a faster path to your certificate.

Independent audits through our partners

Consulting and auditing stay separate

CyberSwipe prepares your organisation. Independent audit and attestation work — including SOC 2 examinations — is carried out by our partner AICPA-member CPA firms.

This keeps consulting and auditing separate, which protects the independence your customers and regulators expect, and gives you a single coordinated path from readiness to report.

Why it matters

Genuinely independent assurance

If the people who prepare you are the people who audit you, the assurance is not independent. Separating the two roles is how credible assurance should work — and it is what your customers and auditors expect.

Typical timeline

How long ISO 27001 takes

Typically 3 to 6 months, depending on size and maturity. Durations below are typical — we confirm a fixed-scope plan and price after the gap assessment.

Phase Typical duration
Gap assessment1 to 2 weeks
Risk assessment2 to 3 weeks
Documentation and implementation6 to 10 weeks
Internal audit and review1 to 2 weeks
Certification audit2 to 4 weeks, depending on the certification body
Who benefits most

Built for organisations that need to prove security

If customers, tenders or investors ask for a recognised security standard, ISO 27001 is the answer — and we scale the ISMS to your size.

SaaS and IT companies

Selling to enterprises? Security questionnaires and vendor onboarding demand documented controls.

Fintech and payments

Regulated partners and banks expect rigorous information security governance.

Healthcare providers

Patient data is sensitive; hospital and clinic vendors face increasingly strict security requirements.

Educational institutions

Schools and colleges handling student data answer to parents, boards and regulators.

BPO and outsourcing

International clients require assurance before entrusting you with their data.

Startups preparing for funding

Investor due diligence and enterprise deals go smoother with documented security governance.

A structured method to identify what could go wrong, how likely it is and how severe, and what to do about it.

It is not explicitly mandated, but it is widely expected as evidence for technical vulnerability management — and most auditors look for it.

If customers or tenders ask for it, yes. Even if not, the structure helps you manage risk. We scale the ISMS to your size.

It depends on size, scope and current maturity. We provide a fixed quote after the gap assessment. Certification body fees are separate.

Your people are essential, because the ISMS has to reflect how you really work. We minimise the burden by doing most of the documentation and guiding the rest.

We cannot guarantee an outcome, because the certification body decides based on your real practices. Our internal audit and readiness review are designed to find and fix issues beforehand, so clients enter the audit well prepared.

Annual surveillance audits and continuous improvement. We offer ongoing support to keep you compliant: evidence tracking, quarterly risk reviews, internal audits, awareness refreshers and surveillance-audit preparation.
